SC Discards Gilani's Appeal in Contempt Case | Pakistan News

SC discarded one last appeal served by the PM Gilani beside a contempt accusation, covering the approach for a case that could throw the nuclear-armed country into political chaos.

The Supreme Court is asking that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani reopen corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari. The PM Yousuf Gilani is neglecting by saying that Zardari, who also co-chairman of the ruling party PPP of which the prime minister is a member, has immunity from proceeding while bearing the office of President.

The good aspect of this confilict is that the case will creat a goodwill of Pakistan through out the world that there is rule of Law in the country but the bad aspect is that the country will fall under political crisis if PM will go to jail.
