Pakistan raised concern Wednesday with visiting U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke over a U.S.-led offensive in neighboring southern Afghanistan that Islamabad fears could send Taliban fighters across the border.
Pakistan constantly demand for “monitoring system” on Afghan border, it was become more essential in the start of this month when raid of Pak Army on a group of activist who crossing the Pakistan border from Afghanistan carrying with them rocket launchers and other weapons.
US Army Chief Mike Mullen also expressed his worries to the Senate committee about this issue, although Pakistan is monitoring its Baluchistan area bordering Afghanistan and increase the number of troops in that region but still the chances of insurgency from there could not ignore.
