The national lashker comprising of local people has gained control of many parts of Upper Dir on Monday following their triumphant operation against Taliban, Geo news said.
The lashker was formed in Dogdara area in Dir which has successfully carried out many operations against Taliban, killing 41 militants, injuring 38 others and got arrested 9 in last 34 days, lashker sources said.
It’s a good sign, Pak army has to provide more support to thsese lashkars as they better know that where the Taliban’s hideouts are located, secondly these tribal laskhars are better aware of Taliban strategies and could fight in a better way and they would give Pak army a strong standing point in the northwest and other tribal regions.
