Good News for Bikers and Students - Petrol Price Cut
The Federal Government has reduced petrol prices under the new daily pricing mechanism.
*New Rates (Effective 24 Sept 2026):*
- *Petrol:* Rs 390.12 (Down Rs 1.93 from Rs 392.05)
- *High Speed Diesel:* Rs 414.75 (Down Rs 4.21)
*What is Daily Price System?*
Earlier, petrol prices were revised every 15 days, then weekly after Middle East tensions. Now, OGRA will announce new rates *daily* based on 7-day average of international market.
Prices announced on Friday will remain same on Saturday and Sunday.
Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said this is as per international practice.
This is relief for Karachi students and delivery riders as fuel is major expense.

*Tip for Students:* Fill fuel on weekdays when prices are lower. Avoid panic buying.
